  • How can I join?
    OMA is currently available at some selected schools in the Bono Region. Students in these schools can sign up for free to attend our campus meetings.
  • What is OMA about?
    Open Mind Africa is about teaching Social Emotional Learning (SEL) as an extra-curricular to students in Africa.
  • Are there fees?
    There are no fees or membership dues. All our programs are available to students for free.
  • What do you teach?
    Open Mind Africa teaches Social Emotional Learning (SEL). We also have other educational programs that are under development.
  • How are you funded?
    We depend on charitable donations from members of our board as well as external donor institutions and organizations.
  • What are your partner schools?
    OMA partner schools are St. James Seminary and Senior High School, Sunyani Senior High School and Notre Dame Girls Senior High School. They are all located in the Bono Region of Ghana
  • Can I volunteer?
    We encourage educators and other professional with related experience who would like to volunteer their time to send us their application.
  • How can I donate?

  • Is OMA a registered non-profit?
    Yes, Open Mind Africa is a registered non-profit in Ghana as well as the United States. In the United States we are also registered as 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
